Local Shipwreck Dive Workshop

We will be covering the popular (and less popular) Shipwrecks in the local area. We will go over the history, type of ships, size, and cool features that make these Shipwrecks fun to dive! We will also be going over the "Lady Luck - Newtown Creek"! From the critters you can expect to see, to the certification and skills needed to enjoy them safely, we will discuss it all in this workshop. We will also show videos and pictures of the different sites. Even the local "Wreck diving Veterans" will learn something in this workshop!

All attendees will leave with a "checklist" of all of the Shipwrecks we covered in the workshop. You can check off the ones you have already dove, and we can try and work off the rest of this list to kick off 2017 !

As you know, Pompano Dive Center never chooses a dive site - we always let the divers do it. This list will help you choose dives you haven't been to, so we can have some new dive experiences together! You can write notes right on the handout, so you don't need to bring anything.

In addition to the "normal" wrecks, we will be discussing:

-Mystery Barge Shipwreck.

-Berry Patch.

-Mariner II Tug

-Mariner II Barge

-Rebel Shipwreck.

-RSB-1 Shipwreck.

-The M/V Castor.

-Hydro Atlantic

-Robert Edmister

-Noula Express

-Union Express

-Quallman Tugs

-Hog Heaven.

...and more !
